What if I pay later than the deadline on the proforma invoice?
If you miss the deadline on your proforma invoice, late payment fees start from the 7th day after the invoice is created. These fees do not apply if you pay on time.
The late payment fee is 0.075% of the car’s full price per day, with a minimum of 10€ per day.

Who can use eCarsTrade?
Car dealers and other automotive companies in and outside the EU can buy vehicles at eCarsTrade.
Non-automotive companies are also welcome, but different conditions apply, and the required deposit will be higher.

To which countries do you sell vehicles?
Our main market is the European Union, but we also sell cars to non-EU car traders. With the eCarsTrade Delivery Service, we can organize vehicle transport straight to your parking lot.
Is it safe to buy cars on eCarsTrade?

Which documents do I need to provide to buy on eCarsTrade?
If you are an EU trader, you need to provide your official company documents. These should include your company name, business type, VAT number, full name of the owner, company address, and a scan of the owner's valid ID card or passport.

Why do you need my company documents and ID?
We sometimes have financial checks and need to make sure everything complies with VIES (VAT Information Exchange System) rules. Your company documents are kept only for eCarsTrade and are never shared for other reasons.
When can I start bidding?
Once our team checks your documents and you receive Silver or Gold user status, you can start bidding. However, to bid as much as you want, you will need to make a deposit. For more details, see User Statuses.
Why do I need to pay a deposit?
The deposit guarantees your ability to purchase. You only pay it once, and it is fully refundable. Once you pay the deposit, you gain access to all listings, and you can bid as much as you want on vehicles from Open Auctions, Blind Auctions, and Fixed Prices.

How do I get my deposit back?

How do I know if I have won an auction?

I made the highest bid in Open Auctions; why didn’t I win the car?

How does Bid or Buy Now work?
'Bid or Buy Now' combines Blind Auctions and Fixed Prices. You can make an offer or buy the car at the set price. To find these cars, go to 'All Cars' and choose 'Bid or Buy Now' under the 'Auction type' filter.

In Fixed Prices, if you want the car at the listed price, click 'Buy now.' We will contact you within 2 hours.

How does Our Stock work?
Our Stock includes vehicles ready for purchase. Cars that are already at our warehouse are marked with the 'At eCarsTrade Warehouse' icon. If you don't see this icon, the car will arrive soon.
You can buy these cars using the Buy now option, and you will find all the information on the car page. If a car has been listed for a while, you may also be able to make a lower offer.

How do Our Stock offers work?
Sometimes, you can offer less than the online price for Our Stock vehicles. We recommend not offering more than 400€ below the listed price.

The car price includes your bid and our commission. Our commission covers administrative costs and transporting the vehicle to our facilities. The amount depends on your bid and the car's country of origin.

You can pay the security deposit online or by bank transfer.
You must pay for cars and extra services by bank transfer from your company bank account. This applies to both EU and non-EU companies. The account holder name and address must match your company name and address.

Once we receive your payment, we will arrange for your car to arrive at the eCarsTrade parking. The lead time depends on the car's country of origin.
When the car is ready for pick-up, you will receive an email and its status will change to 'Ready to be collected'.
Go to the 'Vehicles to be collected' page, fill out and sign the digital Pick-Up Authorization (PUA), and include the name of the transport company that will collect the car. The transport company must bring the required CMR document when collecting the car.
If you are collecting the car yourself with temporary or company plates, you also need to fill out and sign the digital PUA on the 'Vehicles to be collected' page. Mention the driver and plate number, and send a copy of the registration document of the company plates to [email protected]. No, you can't pick up the car directly from the leasing company. We bring all vehicles to our warehouse first so we can check them and make sure everything is right. This helps us quickly handle any issues or claims if they come up.
Will the vehicle have license plates when I pick it up?
No. The vehicle will NOT have its original plates.

Yes. The company plates must be registered to the same company as on the invoice, with the same company name, address, and country.

Can my purchased vehicles be delivered to me?
With the eCarsTrade Delivery service, we can organize transport for eCarsTrade clients. You can have your purchased car delivered directly if your location is reachable by a car transport truck.
After you win a car, the option to request delivery will appear in your proforma invoice email and My Vehicles page.

Do you provide EX-A and EUR.1 documents?
If you are exporting the car outside the EU, we can provide the EX-A export declaration for 50€. Please tell us in advance if you need this document so we can prepare it for you.
The EUR1 certificate is only available for certain brands and must be issued by another agency. Because we are not the car's original manufacturer, eCarsTrade cannot provide EUR1. If you need more details, please contact our Customer Support.

What is the Confirmation of delivery?
The Delivery confirmation shows that your car has arrived at its destination. After you receive the car, confirm its arrival on your Personal page to generate this document. It helps us follow European law, which requires proof of where vehicles are shipped from and delivered to in Europe.
How will I receive the car documents?
We send the vehicle documents separately from the car. To get your documents, confirm the car's delivery by following these steps:
- Pick-up by a transport company (with CMR):
Upload the signed CMR and confirm your car's arrival at its destination using the Request Car Documents page. You will receive the CMR at delivery. - Self-pickup (with CTP):
Fill out and sign the Confirmation of Delivery form using the Request Car Documents page.
Once we receive the required delivery document and your vehicle documents are ready, we will ship them within 24 hours, except on weekends.
We will send the documents to your company's registration address using FedEx, DHL, or a similar courier. You can find the tracking code on your Personal page under Completed Purchases.

I received my car without the documents. How do I get them?

Where can I find my promo codes?
After you buy a car and receive your proforma invoice, go to the Promo codes section of your Personal page to view all your available promo codes.
How can I apply a promo code?
Go to the page for the car you bought or won in the Vehicles to be collected section of your Personal page. Enter your promo code there, and you will see an updated proforma invoice with your discount.

Why can’t I apply a promo code on Stock offers?
Stock offers already include a discount, so you cannot use promo codes with them.

In which cases does eCarsTrade reserve the right to keep the deposit?
If a client does not meet their contract obligations, eCarsTrade may use the deposit to cover financial loss caused by the client’s actions, such as car cancellations, late payments, or failure to provide important documents such as the Confirmation of Delivery or CMR.
We don’t want small issues to stop us from working together in the future. Even if we have to keep your deposit, we’re happy to continue working with you. You may be asked to provide a new, higher deposit before making another purchase.
